World of Dance 2020, Greece is rescheduled for Spring 2021

Due to the coronavirus pandemic’s resurgence, this September’s World of Dance event has been rescheduled for Spring 2021. New dates will be announced once the safety of the attendants can be ensured.

The event, which was initially scheduled for March 2020, was rescheduled for September 2020. However, new restrictions imposed by the Greek government, international travel limitations, and guidelines set by world health organizations have made it necessary for the WOD team to reschedule the event, this time to Spring 2021, in order to guarantee the best dance experience to dancers and fans who will be attending from all over the world, without compromising their safety.

As originally planned, the World of Dance competition will take place at the Athens College – Psychico College Theater. Tickets already purchased will be valid for the 2021 event. Ticket holders who will not be able to attend will have the option to transfer their ticket to a third party or receive a partial refund.

The WOD team is closely monitoring developments on the outbreak and will continue to take appropriate steps as the situation unfolds.

Attracting hundreds of thousands of fans in more than 25 countries, World of Dance has become a tour de force of creative expression, giving dancers from all over the world the opportunity to showcase their talent. Dancers will be competing for the chance to represent Greece in the US finals.
