NEW DATES FOR WORLD OF DANCE 2020, GREECE

World of Dance 2020, Greece is rescheduled for September 27TH, 2020

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s World of Dance competition in Greece has been rescheduled to a safer date. The new date is September 27th, 2020. The event was initially scheduled for March 15th but was postponed for June 7th after international flights were banned, and Greek and other world governments enforced a mandatory lockdown. As the situation of the outbreak is still unfolding, the WOD team decided to reschedule the event once again in order to ensure the best dance experience to dancers and fans who will be attending from all over the world, without compromising their safety.

As originally planned, the World of Dance competition will take place at the Athens College – Psychico College Theater. Tickets already purchased will be valid for the September event. The WOD team is closely monitoring developments on the outbreak and will continue to take appropriate steps, consistent with government restrictions and guidelines set by world health organizations.

Attracting hundreds of thousands of fans in more than 25 countries, World of Dance has become a tour de force of creative expression, giving dancers all over the world the opportunity to showcase their talent. Dancers will be competing for the chance to represent Greece in the US finals.
